Today I replaced my rear bumper with a better condition one I got off Parabola. So shoutout to Parabola thanks again man.

I'm looking at sectioning and shaving the old bumper to make it more like the RVR that has no tyre carrier.

Unless anyone in brisbane has one of those for sale? then hit me up.

Youre thinking of the nimbus, to which the bumpers dont really fit and look super weird if you put one on. Im in the process of doing the same thing, youll need both an RVR and a nimbus bar chop them very very specifically in half and plastic weld them together.

Nah there is a model of rvr that comes with a smooth bumper.. a guy named Max who was wrecking a hsg in Gympie, his old boy has one.. the spare tyre is underneath. Pretty rare I’m assuming.

that looks identical to a nimbus bar, same lights, same side reflectors etc etc. Ill want one myself if they made something like that for the RVR without modification save me a world of hurt trying to make one....

Definitely Nimbus bar. The best you can do is as Hyper Mike did (I think it was him) and have a fibreglasser bridge the holes left by the wheel carrier really.

Well fuck me dead. I followed an RVR yesterday in Gympie with on older lady driving it. It had that bar on the rear with what looked like a spare under the rear..... it was a bit faded but looked as if it had an X3 decal on the right rear panel. I was wrong I reckon.

That would be Max Harling and you are correct it does have as you state, it had a lot of weird stuff that most RVRs that I have seen dont.

So today I modded some Evo 8 recaros to bolt to RVR rails. Here is a pic. I'll take another pic once I get the hardware and they are bolted in. They will also sit a little lower than stock seats.

I got one in and done today. Sorry if the pic isn't the best I'm In a rush as I'm heading off tomorrow for work. Will do the other on the weekend when I'm back! Great fit seats are a lil snug if you are bigger than a 36 waist I wouldn't recommend!rsz_img_20180423_165651.jpg
