Took the car out for a drive today. It’s Loud, bumpy ride, heavy clutch and wreaks of E85. I was exhausted by the end of the day but it still puts a smile on my face after all these years.

Anyone else still get those feelings? Nobody seems to post on the forums anymore.

Apart from the e85 mine exactly the same haha. I dailied it for a couple of weeks while my work van was having a head recoed. I love driving it, but reminded me why I was glad to have a work van haha. The stop start traffic killed my ankle with the heavy clutch lol.

Apart from a few issues overall, what I love most is being able to drive to a track, race all day and then drive home haha

Just yesterday, I took the VR-4 out just to go to the shops.

Yes, its loud, requires effort to drive and smelly, but that's what makes it fun.

So there are still people out there driving their cars.

I've lost count of how many times I've contemplated selling up and moving on, but just can't do it.

I suppose most of the chat has gone to facebook now.

It's a shame how the forum has died down and everything's moved to FB, but I'm guilty of frequenting FB more than the forums too now.

yes social media has killed old school discussion.
I don't like how you cant really search in social media, everything disappears.

What type of clutch is, it how much power does your car make?
My car is only moderately powered, clutch is really nice to drive.

I'm in Sydney, not sure how many Sydney members there are left. To be honest the last time I went to a car "meet" was at Eastern Creek about 5 years back. I was bored and felt like an old fart. Never got the point of parking up and standing around.

I'm making 243kW at the wheels and only drive the car a few times a year. Might be time to book in some track days to get some use out of it.
