So I've noticed the stitching on my Recaro seats is starting to wear away on the drivers side. I know this is a common problem, as over time the thread wears down and you lose the "RECARO" lettering on the seats. But has anyone had any luck having this re-embroidered? I'd like to think they could copy the passenger side seat in terms of matching the stitching?

I know this seems like a lot of effort, but the rest of the seats/interior of the car is immaculate so pretty annoying.

There are vector based graphics available here. Might help?

Not really, the lettering in the seats is slightly different to the logo.

Doesn't look too far off to me. A few minor tweaks in Illustrator would have it spot on.

Anyway, good luck with it.

I think it's more so the stitching pattern, and if anyone would be able to match the passenger side.

If it was being printed then yeah the vector would be perfect.

Below are the seats I have;

Probably worth having a chat to whoever would be doing the work if you haven't already. I've only enquired about having something embroidered once, and they only asked for a good quality .jpg file to work from, even though I had a vector based file I could have supplied.

Will be interested to see how you go. I have a similar issue with the lettering on my E3 Recaros.

Just get a set of the beaded seat covers that Taxis have and be done with it?
Old mate Kylie Hubner will have a set somewhere....
