Hello everyone. Name is Sonny. I'm a car fanatic since high school. I started with Fords and after l sold my mk-2 Escort GL 4-dr. with a 2 litre Pinto engine and Janspeed turbo kit, l've been working on Mitsubishis now. I have à 1987 Lancer SL w/c l plan to re-power and use for a bit of drag racing. I just bought a dohc 4G-63 n/a engine from an old RVR-X. It had matic tranny. I bought only the engine and wiring harnesses/computer boxes intact. Am planning to use my km-119 5-speed tranny from my Lancer. Question: how do l convert the intake manifold system so l don't have to go thru the firewall & just install my air filter on the front left side of the engine bay?

Does the trans share the bolt pattern with the engine, or are you using a adaptor plate?

Intake manifold is often plated on the tb end and a flange added to the other end to suit the tb you using.
