Nope didn't buy the bonnet or the fenders. Have 6 bonnets and at least three sets of guards. I took the radiator support panel from an evo, radiator from vr4 some lights and the evo two bar with lip. Bonnet has a dent anyway jack and the guards were average. I guess it helps that Ben tan whom I've know for 15 years has hisl work shop less than 1000 metres in a straight line from mpY place jack

Not on eBay, but did know where else to put this.
Spotted a 2wd Lancer 'MX' (?) at Campbellfield pick a part today with what appeared to be a factory rear wiper. Seemed to be an import, it was pouring rain so didn't have a real good look.
(After owning an Evo for years I think all sedans should have rear wipers)image.jpg

That would be good to get hold of for parts.

Rear wiper, weather shields (although it looks like the drivers is broken.) flip mirrors, rear aerial and more then likely climate control..

So the wiring will be for all this also...

I would be all over this for a future project I have in mind if I was in Melb.

I got $100 if someone wants to get me the flip mirrors, inside trim panels, the dash switch to suit, relay, and wiring plugs with pigtails. Call it $120 posted to perth.
These bits:

No way in the world the wrecker would sell all that for $120. Your dreaming!
You might get the mirrors alone for that.

Oh. I thought it was pickapart. And was like $50 for all you can carry. (Maybe that was the closing down sales)
Been 15yrs since we had pickapart here.
the pic is from ebay. He wants $260 + 100 post. I think thats dreaming too.

no offence intended

Seeing as it's a pickapart and the car isn't an "EVO" I highly doubt the guys there would even know there any different to a standard lancer mirror !!

Most wreckers I've been to only want between $20 an $25 for a good stock (power) lancer mirror !!

And for all the smalls, I'd just pocket them..... That's why there called "Pick 'N' Pocket" isn't it '?!?! 😜

Only thing that sux would be cutting up that wiring harness. As it's basically a jap spec GSR harness. So Climate control, etc, etc..... not easy to come by.

It sux putting the bits in a jumbuck too. Better there than the bin tho.

Wonder how it got here. If it was aussie rego.

Pretty sure they would know its an import due to the extras it has over a stock lancer.
And in saying that...the import wrecker tax would be applied.
The local pick a part has never had 50 all you can carry over here?
You pay $2 entry then whatever the price is for the goods.

I might go take a look at that car on the weekend Jack - I'm planning to hit the wreckers to get a spare door as part of my lexan window/mass reduction activities.

Leave the mirror on the door. Put the other mirror and bits inside the door and away we go...
I send you pm as well. Cheers
