And you dont need to send the covers as gsr95t thread shows, just the guts.

Those mirrors certainly didn't cost anything near $120........  The guys at Pick-A-Part didn't care what type of Lancer it was - local/import/alien, the price was the same.

 

The interior had been pretty much gutted but the dash and harnesses, relay and fuse boxes are still there.

If any of you guys are going to or going back to this lancer, any Chance you could have a look to see if it has the little blanking plate under the drivers side air vent where the dash light dimmer gos in our Aus spec cars ?? Been looking for a J-spec blanking plate for a while.... Both I've found so far have had holes drilled in them....


If it's there and has no holes, cracks and still has the clips intact. Any chance you could grab it for us and post it over ?? I'll pay all costs of cause and you can even throw a few bob on for ya self.. Don't care just need it... LOL...

Also, do these have the V brace behind the rear seat like an EVO does ??? Still looking for one of them too..

The whole dash and console are gone, including all the little covers, switches and blanking plates (I was looking for a couple myself!)  Only the EVOs had the v-brace behind the back seat IIRC.

Hey mate - was at the wrecker's looking for a coupe driver side window to use as a template for my lexan project.  I was considering grabbing a coupe sheetmetal door too but they want $60/ea for them! and I'm only going to cut it up to see how much of the inner panel I can remove plus design a mounting system for the lexan windows, but I'll save my $$ and just take my time on the current doors on the coupe.

 

I got your txt too btw - will give you a call on the weekend.  Not looking for a fuel tank atm, just the inspection covers that go on the rear seat sheetmetal.

no...all the middle ones seem to die. I might have a few of the outers kicking around tho

Thanks for the help guys... As EVO-GSR Said the part I'm after is just the little cover under the vent. It's a blanking plate that's used on an EVO to fill in the hole where the dimmer switch goes on a Lancer/GSR as EVOs of cause don't have the dimmer switch,..

I've attached a pic...

I found a vent on eBay that has it but the guy wants $51 U.S. For it...

For that price you'd be better off just buying a new one haha
