So true man, Was just curious is all, I wouldn't dare use anything but the best in the 5, it's the car I don't trial an error with, lol
Have seen them up there for a little bit now and no one I know has had any experience with them either,

I only notice starter threads , nothing down the line of durability , Ive noticed Honda ones cracking over time

They have quite a bad reputation in the turbo mitsi world.

The OEM harmonic balancer does exactly that, it absorbs vibrations caused by the engine. These lightweight pulleys do not.

I dont think that there is any real concern with the durability of the underdrive pulley, it is more to do with the decrease durability of your engine when running these.

 

I remember a long time back throwing these on an N/A engine actually gave some noticeable feel of increase in performance.
