hi, i am nearly finished fitting a jap spec vr4 engine into my gsr, i read in this thread to just use the 4g93t airflow meter, as i will be using the vr4 computer with the gsr loom will any changes need to be made to the wiring, and will the vr4 computer run ok with it, i do have the 4g63 airflow meter is it easier just to re wire gsr loom to suit the vr4 aiflow meter plug. "has anyone done this or knows how top re wire it". secondly the gsr loom is set up for a two wire o2 sensor and the 4g63 engine only has wire coming from the o2 sensor, do i simply ground one of the wires from the gsr loom or change something here, or run the old 4g93 o2 sensor. any help would be much appreciated.

I'd bite the bullet and track down a VR4 loom mate and use an 055 AFM
Less of a headache, although I'm not sure how easy it is to get the GSR Air-Con wired up to it?

So after reading EVO-00X's excellent write up, it sounds like I'll lose my GSR's air-con (which I just paid about $500 to get working again) - unless I can find a VR4 air-con "unit".
What it meant by air-con "unit" exactly.....the compressor?
More importantly, does anyone here actually have working air-con on their 4G63'd GSR?
And don't tell me to wind the windows down, I'm too old for that shit - I want my air-con!!

Do the boxes differ in length from the bellhousing to the gearbox moutings or am i crazy?? any advice would be appreciated. Btw, original engine was 4g15 carby w/ f5m21

what do you call the correct passanger side hangar
to do this with bolt on mitsu parts you will need the following
Evo1-3 passenger side engine & matching block mount

Nope 4g93t 7-bolt flywheel pattern is different to 4g63t 7 bolt pattern.
4g93t clutch and pressure plate will fit 4g63t flywheel though.

OEM flywheel in the forums; aftermarket billet flywheel in US EBay; Engine mount, probably Meek is the only place that sells them new that I know of as it'd be hard to find one second hand in the forums.
