Also, I have to agree on the pricing here. You want a good computer for good reason, not just the fuel managemnt issues but for the flexibility it's going to offer you when it comes time to fine-tune the thing. And I can recommend nothing less than a MOTEC unit because it does indeed give you that flexibility. Especially with your goals. Basically this is going to be a no-holds-barred build; if you skimp anywhere it's going to bite you in the arse and cost much more in the long-term. I learnt this the hard way; when going for goals of this magnitude, you cannot afford to stinge on anything. And when going for time, you need every advantage you can get. Which means top-drawer parts, or design and build the system yourself[not recommended if you have little expereince putting a complete system together.] At this stage it isn't going to be tell people what you want anymore. You're going to have to work with them, and put a lot of stock in what they tell you. OR, you're going to get ripped, hardcore. You will have to put your own ideas aside as well; there are going to be poeple out there who will be very expereinced and very knowledgable. The trick is, finding out who they are and who the pretenders are.
Passing the 310kW mark is going to see plenty of stock ancillaries reach the limit of their design envelopes, so you can pretty much count on having to get the next step up. One stock system has limited my engine to what it has now; as the project progresses, more will fail. This is a costing issue that you will have to factor in. I would suggest putting aisde another 3-4K for the little things that you don't expect.

In my knowledge of cordia turbo racing, i only know oF TWO Extremly quick VR-4 powerd cordia's, they are >
1.Cyclone in his 10.3 second car. AND
2.Chris's 12.3 second cordia.
I dont know any one else or any other cordia as quick as they are, My aim is to be the next best thing. Number 3.
I get inspiration's from both of these cars.
Is that you in the avatar? You look like a pretty intelligent bloke. Good luck with your cordia

I had TDO5 big 16G on 20psi and it would fry the tyres first, second, third and fourth, then I changed the springs, LSD, stiffer engine mounts and now I can hold 20psi in second onwards (on 18" rims) with a GT30 which is making more power than I would have had with the TDO5.
So if you wanna do the Cordia, then as long as you pay attention to suspension you'll be able to get it to hook up.

i seen a quick cordia all the time about a year ago when i used to go to the street runs. i seen it race a t78 equipped GTR(Dexter) that would easily run a high 10 on the street. stop start and the cordia was next to it all the way.
