the draw/suck that this will create almost negates the need for an air intake up the front

far from it Luke.
Thursday morning we fitted up the front and rear aero, (no mid section was fitted for the event) missed the first session, went out for the 2nd session and the radiator developed a crack in a tube. we fixed that and were ready for Friday.
Friday mornings first session I got one lap before a red flag, same in the second session. In both of those sessions the front bar was trying to fly off at the end of the straight (250kmh+), shaking like a bitch. so we missed the 3rd session on Friday to fix that.
Saturday morning I got 2 hot laps in, did a cool down and went again and was on a flyer (over 2 seconds up by turn 9 ) when a shifter cable clip came off, (I thought my box broke again lol). Came in and found the radiator leaking again!!!
**Thanks to Jamo for getting the clips for me**
front aero was good though lol.
fixed the radiator for the next session and went out and did a warm up, came in to check tyre pressures and the rad was leaking again (new spot) so pulled the pin.
All I can think is that it was the vibration that killed it because even on the 28psi tune it only runs 75c water temp and runs a 1.1 bar (low pressure) cap.....
that's racing though I guess lol

My pleasure George...was great to catch up with you again too.
Was quite a chaotic weekend all round...I dont think it was run or organised anywhere near as well as previous years.
I had lots of people complaining / not happy, about numerous things.

I thought the same, and with the extra car failures, oil spills, crashes etc it made it worse I think.

On the bright side the major items came home intact.
