the last of the deadener off the inside of the inside of the firewall.
now ready to finish the paint inside the car and start puting it all back together.
new rs front brake lines fitted.
i would have alot more does if it was not so bloody hot, no fun in the shed in 40+ heat

just have to work out which parts dont go back on and which
ones dont.
just about to tackle the pain in the ass front
sway bar bushes. there is no motor in the car and i still have
to drop the front crossmember to do it....damn.
hopefully the shed will be alittle clearer when the car is done too.

There nothing like getting a project car to rolling stage getting it out of garage just so you can clean up the mess that always takes place just to start a fresh its the best time G so enjoy it..cause before you know it will be mostly done.

a little mate,
dms 50mm should be here this week. i was waiting for them before i
did another update so that i had some pretty pictures.
front sway bar bushes are fitted(what a stupid design that is) cant
even change them with the engine out without dropping the cross
member.
brand new front lower control arms are in with ralliart bushes fitted.
just waiting for new d clamps for the rear sway bar(mine are buggered,
hence the trouble i was having with the rear sway bar)
once the dms come in the car can go back onto its wheels.
right angle drive has been reco,d and checked---all ok
give me a few more weeks with a few LESS 40+ days and ill be rocking

yeah, i was glad i was able to get these in the end.
with the rest of my suspension setup it should be a pretty decent base
to start from thats for sure...

i agree mate, they are a wise investment in the long run i think.
the only prob is that i cannot put the fronts in yet until the noltecs
come,and i do not want to put the ralliart tops in just to take them
back out in a few weeks time.
but the rears will go in tomorrow night. just need to get another strut top
the same from work as i have lost one.

so you ended up going with the noltecs over the dms tops? will they fit straight off the shelf as the dms tops need a few mods to fit?

yep went for noltec over the dms because of the cost saving,
they can achieve pretty much the same castor and they also
use the 3rd hole on the strut top.
i also have had some experience with them(noltecs) on other cars too.
the problem at the moment though is that noltec is moving and they are
being very slow at the moment
