gearset picked up today from being iso'd, came up better than the last set.
TMZ cross shaft and extra gears done also
Interesting looking at the centre diff spider gears that the ones from my evo box had the oil groove but the gsr ones didnt?

. Hey that cross shaft came up pretty good George.
BTW, I found that the Evo spider gears are the ungrooved version, but the GSR spider gears are grooved.
I ended up using 4 x grooved GSR spider gears in mine after they were shotpeened. Those little bastards spin a hell of a lot and the little oil groove might help add a film of oil between the spider gear thrust face and the side of the cross shaft. The thing is submerged in oil anyway so it doesn't really matter so much as long as people perform regular oil changes and keep the oil level up

yep, just for bling so that if the box explodes again it looks good on the ground.
Rob, the grooved ones were definatley out of my original 2 box as they were the ones I ran before, and the GSR box from BRUSHED had no grooves

George probably uses space-shuttle grade super lightweight titanium cap bolts with holes precision drilled through them for further mass reduction.
Looking at those Matthias pics, it seems he grinds flats onto the bolts and washers he uses.

nah, they will just be standard style cap screws. They most likely will also need a touch up on the side to clear.
