got the strut tops, just need to get a couple of washers to space them properly. trail fitted one though and it should
work fine.(fingers crossed)

fuel tank has been assembled so just need to bang that in.

at closer inspection not overly happy with the strut tops.
the upside is that they cost me next to nothing in the end.

obviously they are not what i was expecting but they should work with
some(maybe alot of) mucking around.

i already have had to turn out some material inside the nuts to
get them too screw down hard on the top of the strut.

also the bolts that go through the tops are only 10mm not 12mm
(which i will have to change so they dont float in the holes)

atleast they are light,solid on pillow ball.

i have also been doing little bits and pieces.

the brake lines are nearly done after removing abs.

transfer case is rebuilt(along with the rest of the driveline)

still have not finished the paint on the inside though(just cant be bothered atm)

did you think about removing the booster? you can run a mazda 626 master cyl for much better braking feel, and its always consistant

no i havent lewis.removing the abs was mainly for weight
and no intrusions from the little man that pulses the pedal

do you have that setup on your car?

if so id be keen to see how it was done because it would
be worth doing

what is the second bracket on the master cylinder?

there is only one bracket. one bit bolts to the body
and the other to the master cylinder.

just have not put it together yet

also started playing aroud with the remote battery kill
cable, maybe i should just finish one thing then start the next

a mate of mine is building a high mount pedal box
for his 3 so im going to get him too replicate it
for me in the future.

that will be part of the development in the long run

yeh a pedal box with bias would be awesome, but it all costs $$$ as for the boosterless setup, i dont have it yet, a good freind has it in his evo 1 gravel car.. copying the setup is one of the plans for this off season.. ill get some pics and details and ill post it up..
