I drilled out the spot welds instead of just hacking them off so hopefully it comes up a bit better in the end

still got a bit of extra weight to cut off, should be an ok saving in the end but also allow for improvements in aero in the wheel arch area

the minimum weight for me for wtac is 944kgs (no driver or fuel). I was at that before without the floor and rear diffuser (quite heavy).
the quarters didn't actually weigh as much as I thought, maybe 7-8kgs each, but ill be able to remove some other bits under there aswell.
I don't know if ill get the aero refined any time soon but the goal is to be at 944kg with full aero on.
im going to change a few things in the front also to try and get some more weight out of there and I still need to change the roof skin

there is actually very little benefit to hole sawing panels. you save heaps more weight by shaving hinges of using lighter weight bolts
