I don't plan too but maybe a smear down each side just in case, ill probably just put s bit of foam tape on the ribs so it doesn't rub

so how will you secure/ mount it ?
rivets mate, the windows front and rear will hold it and maybe 4-5 rivets down each side

Sweet progress George. I don't know if you mentioned somewhere but what did the FG roof end up coming in at weight wise?
LOL Shayne! Like I said in your 'members ride' thread, you should have just purchased a stock Evo7 GTA and put an APEXI intake and D2 coilovers, EVO OZ boys would respect you way more than currently with your coupe!

ill try and get a weight, id guess that its about half that of the steel with braces, it is a bit heavier than I had hoped though

^ That was my thoughts too when I read you went FG roof.
When I converted my front guards to FG they were lighter, but not a significant saving over OEM sheet metal.
I think because the sheetmetal is already minimal, FG would actually add on weight if you're laying up heaps of layers & resin.
Best way for weight reduction would be 3 or less layers vacuumed so minimal resin used consumed.
On the bright side, your roof will never rust again!

the roof is pretty much done for fitment now, once I cut off the metal I don't need the saving was good enough and the plus side is the roof wont flop around as its quite stiff. now just the quarters
also going to use the "original" glyptal this time, I used the crc version last time but that has a lower heat rating the the good stuff.
also barry has been working on improving the ports, still a lot of work to do but there should be some big gains considering the port job I had before wasn't awesome, in saying that having the cut up head helps you know how far you can safely go
