they are pissy little ones, I have never has noise, I think most top end noise is the rockers not the lifters anyway

and I bought all new ones (the pressed steel pajero ones)

more work been going on inside the engine to get the oil back into the sump faster

 

block breather is back in and the drain next to it now has a pipe to get the oil back to the sump faster with no interruption,

the crank scraper will hold it in, there will be more work done on the other side drains too soon.

 

external head drain is in and will drain back to the sump externally.

drain back pipes that cover the oil returns and stop the drained oil getting smashed by the crank.




modified windage tray to hold the pipes




baffled block breather and drain pipe, this will stop the draining oil going out the crankcase breather hole
