firstly rob the foot plates are only welded partially around the botom,not the whole way, hole saw holes to drop the loop to weld.
he also drills a couple of holes in the plate and welds them also for
extra strength in the middle.
for sure running the bars to the front towers after much discussion,
just need the door and sainz bars in now and we are away

just needs door and front strut bars, window net fitted,seat in(which it has been) on the lowest setting i can only just see over the dash, its great.

im pretty happy with how it is starting to come together now,
i think everything that can go wrong already has and i
should have some smooth sailing from here on in i hope,
still have alot of bits to remove andv lighten, then put it all back together,

Are you having any side instrusion bars? (probably not really needed for bitumen work though).
