got a fair bit of the rear suspension stripped out last night, to change to ralliart bushed arms, rear sway bar etc..

i have to get the rear diff out and sent off to be rebuilt also as there is bugger all preload on the lsd now.

i have also stripped all the rear suspension out to be replaced with all ralliart rebushed arms, new wheel bearings, whiteline rear sway bar.

i was amazed how slogged out the bushes and joints were on the arms i removed, the car felt tight before, with no noises or knocks, cant imagine what it will be like now.

the ralliart bushes are soooo much stiffer than the standard type bushes, should be a decent improvement, especially in the rear diff department.

gotta love the factory rose joints in evos too

only thing left to remove from the rear end is the diff.
i was happy to see a mechanical lsd too(I thought it was but it was nice to confirm)
even though it has little to no preload left.
that will be sent of to be rebuilt next week along with the rear drive shafts and the tail shaft.
besides the engine that covers most of the under body stuff.

had to grind the bloddy rear sway bar links off though.

i can but they are not cheap dan, especially when you do 4 engine mounts

lower control arms in the front

lower control arms in the rear, toe link arms, upper control arms,2 trailing arm bushes and 4 diff mount bushes.

the main ones to get would be the engine mounts and the diff bracket mounts.

the upper arms and toe arms from an evo into gsr would be a nice improvement too as they have rose joints standard

ive already got the 4 ralliart engine mount bushes :)

if i could get the others that would be great, My upper rear link bushes are shot as it is, i was thinking of getting those cusco upper links to replace them, but if i can still get raillart bushes then thats a better option !

cusco ones will allow more negative camber though, over ralliart ones.

they are both rose jointed too

does you car have evo arms or gsr ones in the rear?

cvap is cheap for sets i think

we get about 4-6 events from the proflex between rebuilds (so say 400-600Km of stages) its 250 per corner, it doesnt seem to make it feel better, but it does stop them leaking etc.. on the tarmac u will get heaps of kms between rebuilds... its just the gravel that stuffs everything..

50mm fronts, 40mm rears.

Ive never had them rebuilt before

Done about 20 rallies on them too

Back one shat itself during the last event and leaked out fluid!

With the shocker as is i havent had a proper drive yet, but the clutch feels good and the drive ratio much shorter.
