Not obsessive at all, no point doing it if you're not going to do it properly mate!

Obsessed would be changing barbs to braided lines and speed flow fittings. You're in between. Lol. Hope that makes you feel better.

I picked up my coils today finally, D585 LS2 coils, they have in built ignitors so will be nice and easy to run sequentially on the motec.
Also picked up my wide band oxy sensor and 3 bar map sensor

Cant go wrong with the sequential LS2 coils with built in ignitors mate. Good choice.
Figured out how you're going to mount them yet? :)

Since when do you use anything "off the shelf" anyway?

Baz has a pretty neat coil setup in his VR4, do you have room around the passenger strut mount area to mount them like his?

I had to make a custom bracket for my LS1 coils when I mounted them on the firewall.
You'll think of something lol.... I'd keep the heat away from them though.

I dont think heat should be too much of an issue considering they mount to the rocker covers right above the headers on the stock engine.

down on the block below the inlet manifold will be nice and cool though

Todays project was bonnet hinges, I contemplated (and still am) making them from alloy, should be quite easy really.

But for now just some removal of excess material

Easiest way to save weight on something is to get rid of it completely! Ditch the hinges and go with a lift-off bonnet setup!
