can i just ask , have you set yourself a projected weight for when she is complete or are you just lightening and then big surprise?

I had a goal of 1100kgs wet, with fuel, with me in it, at the moment I am under that by a bit.
The car is currently around the 950kg mark wet (no fuel) there is still more weight to come out of the front as well though which is where it needs to come off.

Looking wicked man!!! who shortend the shocks?

DMS did the work on them

Another new job, dont know why I keep doing this to myself lol

I removed the power steering pump and all bracketry to allow room for the new oil cooler location and
to lower the weight down in the front of the car. For something I had already trimmed heavily it is still heavy.
All low pressure hoses will also be changed to rubber and the steel lines removed.

A new alloy bodied power steering pump will be mounted down on the original alternator location at the front lower part of the engine.
We had to drill out the hole to allow a 10mm bolt to go through. Just need to fiddle about with the pullies now to get that right

bracket removed, (this is part of the jaysracing relocation kit)

new pump just sitting in the rough location, should be workable

also the coil mounts are coming along too, along with progress on a few other little jobs

Excellent stuff. A big inspiration for what I'd do if I had the money and/or skills, and I'm sure for plenty of others too.

What's the ETA for it actually getting running on the roads/tracks?

You're mad! Why make such a chunky (heavy!!) bracket for your coils when you could fold a piece of alloy and bolt them to that!? If you're not going to take this weight reduction thing seriously George, don't bother doing it at all!!!

Plus - what was the other bit in the jayracing kit that you've shown with the power steering pump bracket? I didn't get anything for the power steering pump with my alternator relocation kit.

you have 6 bolt which is different I believe, it moves the belt for the p/s pump onto the outer pulley

yep, it fucks my build lol, well the only thing that kills it is the minimum weight thing.
I have to add 220kgs+ to run open
