Switch panel is coming together, just need to refit the PDM and secure the loom and make the labels now.

Suzuki sx4 has a electric steering setup. no steering box. i think its like steer by wire!!
I only had one quick head scratching look and moved on so i have no more info. maybe worth a look tho
certainly the difference between lhd. and rhd. is only inside the cabin. no steering shaft sticks through the firewall.

That's a pretty clever thought jack however the sx4 still has a rack. If it was a steer by wire system how would you get feedback through the wheel? Pretty important in a Motorsport application IMO. Not dissin your suggestion at all it just sounds very dangerous especially if it fails on turn one at eastern creek. Have a read of this even the journo's are scratching their heads about it

nice article Adrian. interesting reading. it says the ecu will feedback road to the steering wheel.
Benefits would be:
0 bump steer as each wheel is steered independently,
Infinitely variable steering ratios,
Variable powered assist for pits and parking.
Faster and nicer steering feedback (back to back testing in article)
Faster steering reactions,
No restrictions with steering wheel placement,

Looks like awesome technology. im sure its reliable. billions of money on development etc

I think the vents look much better now. The stock vents did not suit at all...

Coming along nicely!

I was going to run just mesh in the original holes but with the shape of the bonnet it would not promote the extraction of the air like the stock ones do.
Having them more open should help get more out along with the new side vents
