Goes back to AWD this week...
Just needed to get the tune done, and idle sorted out..
First time this engine has had a tune since it was in the Sonata.. But have reached that point where I don't want/need to do anything mechanically.. So shouldn't need another one.. Unless I change ECU...
Only thing left now is tyres, and maybe upgrade suspension..

Bit the bullet, and although there is heaps of tread on the Pirelli's, the ride in the dyno was as rough as shit... The tyres are probably 8+ years old, and due to limited use, are all hard and cracked.. Put them on to get fitment sorted, so just got these...
Have gone the Federal RSR 215/45/17's ...

They are beyond anything ... If you felt how bad the ride was with them, you would know what I mean...
Was bloody hard to even get them on the rims ... But needed something to test the rims with the brake upgrade. Didn't want to buy new rubber separate, find out we had issues, then buy rims... Always much cheaper to buy a rim/tyre package...
As it is, I am using a small spacer (5mm) just to give that clearance of the calliper. But this meant I got to keep my Enkei's which I had fallen in love with, from when I put them on my FTO .... And light as hell ...

the old ones might be worth a few $ to one of the burnout kids.
Plenty of tread area on the new ones. They look the goods.

I have a set of 4x114.3 rims ... I may try to sell them together... I just won't put them on the wheels, and leave that up to the buyer...

1 more sleep to go ... Pick up tomoz...
Just getting the new rubber put on the wheels, and balanced.. I know 1 wheel has a slight buckle... So with my clearance of the new brakes, means it will probably have to have a weight put on the outside to balance it...
No photo shoots on that side of the car ... Hehehehe...
