And man does she pull... Had a little fun with a golf GTI as well.. Hehehe..
Need a little bit of wood to get into and out of the garage though.. Damn front lip.. But will practice my angles a little today..
And with my new security setup, can keep a watchful eye on her anywhere ..

Good stuff mate, 455Nm will be more than enough to haul it along at a brisk pace!

Trying to get the dust out of all the suede tho.. Well that was a challenge.. May have to see what I can use to clean that at a later date. But was able to blow a lot of it out with the compressor..

Have driven this thing pretty much every day to work ..
Filled her up with 98Ron, and left it on 14PSI .. She still pulls so hard... I love it ...
Added a touch of JDM ... Not sure whereabouts I can park in Japan ... But just in case...

Thanks guys...
Yeah, she is so much fun ... Just gotta sort out the suspension and bushes, as I am not too happy with these coilovers... So will look at getting new ones with a softer spring rate (Maybe even same as stock) and look at getting bigger sway bars, and new bushes etc.
Am working on my revamped cluster too ...

Putting together some new gauges...
Some may have seen my EL Gauge post about a supplier who makes these for early Lancers... And later ones, but it has been pretty hard to find something this quality for the older cars...
I use to have a set of dials from PCP (Pro Car Parts) which were better priced as they were in the states. But anyway ... Here they are...
JDM Yo!!!!

Removing needles is easy ...
2 spoons.. and done ...
Just gotta check the calibration .. I already have a 5% variance in my existing cluster... (compared to GPS speed) ... So this will probably be the same...

Because of your great spoon tip i will share my speedo tip.
install cluster without glass, loosen needle (with spoons), go for burn and hold speed at 100kph on gps, remove and refit needle to show 100kph.
this is a bit fiddly by yourself, as steering, steering wheel spokes, watching road and watching where the needle is going is quite a handful. Maybe get a passenger to steer and watch road so you can do the needle bit. Straight freeway is a must. Will prolly take 1/2 a dozen goes.
tacho is easy....

Yeah, no probs ..
Will see how we go .. If it is only still out by the 5%, I may just leave it ... Although, I am just down the road from the freeway, and it is nice, long and straight.. So could be easy to adjust like that...
I have Rev's on my Apexi AVC-R anyways ... So as long as they are close, it should be good for that one. My current cluster is off in Revs too .. But only slightly ..
If all else fails, I just send it off to get calibrated ...

I think you might be surprised...its not as easy as suggested. I tried numerous times and it was always out. Time will tell.
Yeah, I think you can actually buy a cog, that alters the variance. So if you see you constantly have 5%, you buy a certain size, install it, and presto ...
But yeah, I will research when the time comes... I hate wiring shit up ... So am dreading that part ... But has to be done ... So may have to call in a mate to do that bit...
