Also got the front seats in today ... With any luck I will attempt to put the rear in on Monday ...
Sorry about the pics, but they were taken with my phone camera ... Install was a sinch ... The drivers side went straight in ... No mods no nothing... The passenger side was almost as easy ... Just needed to file out the wholes were the bolts go through ... 1 was filed a little, and the other was drilled to make it a little larger... Only reason that this was done, was because if you try to put it in without modification, all bolts will line up, but 1 at the rear..
It was only out by about 1-2mm, but it was enough for the bolt not to go in... Which is why you need to give the front two wholes a little bit more room to move... Lets hope the rear ones go in as easy ...
Happy Easter all !!!!!

Let me just say ... Straight fit ...
Also did a trial fit of the skirts...
So yeah, that is how she stands at the moment... Just gotta get her running, and then off to the panel beater to fit the skirts and stuff... Still a lot of work to go ...

Just make sure that the rear pods on bumper are correctly mounted you should be able to see the line thats in the bumper and the pod sits around 3-5mm away running parallel.
Yeah, I think they are in the right spot .. It matches the lines on the skirts also ...

Thanks mate ... I am thinking of painting the outside the darker blue which the E6 came in ... Just need to get the name + paint code ...

Thanks mate ... The Recaro rails on it were a direct fit ... Well direct for the driver, and about 1mm out for the passenger ...
The rear top seat, was a direct fit also ... Just needed two people to put it in as you needed to squash it a little to fit onto the top clips... Then it just lets itself fill out and looks factory .... The rear bottom just slotted straight in with no dramas ... Like a hot knife slicing through butter ...
Still heaps of work to be done on her tho ... dump pipe and all that needs to be done, so does exhaust, intercooler piping ... Wait for the new cat to come in ... Umm ... All the wiring ... and I think that will just about do it ... So some day she will be finished ...

This pic was taken for a slightly different question however it does show the spot welds where the bracket attaches. I can take more/better pics if you like.. it is basicly just an angle bracket, I had to change my rsp so I just got a second hand evo one and they were on there, I wouldn't go to the extreme of changing it as GSRSOL is going to do!
Also search: Agent orange... = NOTHING
I was wanting to get in contact with the guy as I have a bit of a purple theme going on under my bonnet and the silicone hoses on that car are purple but I have never been able to buy them any where

[quote name='"rock_it"']Yep off an E6.... Not sure if it is a direct fit though ... I am told that the passenger seat should bolt right in ... The drivers seat is meant to need a little modification ... And the back seat looks about the same size.. I think it just bolts up to a different spot... But that can be easily fixed...

Richard, SAMCO make all the silicone stuff in purple, you just have to order it specially.
My RSP is a little munted as it is anyway, not noticeably so, but you know what were all like - gaps here and there just shit you, even if no-one else notices them ...... thats why i want to change mine, otherwise id do what you just said, weld on the brackets....

We are going to make up a bracket to fit the top of the bar onto, and then some sections of steel down the bottom of the bar to also keep it in place...
Have to cut up some of the bar to fit the intercooler piping ... I feel kinda bad chopping up a genuine Evo bar.. So forgive me guys ...
Anyway ... Mechanic will finish up all the wiring, then it is up to me to mount all the gauges and AVC-R then stereo and all that garbage... Then new front windscreen, some more panel work ... And then that will do me to the respray ... Sooooo much more stuff to do ... Kinda makes me cry a little ...
