Hmm it does look like yours... I can't remember the brand .. Just know that it was titanium ... Love the blue tinge ...
Thanks for the comments vsthis ... I am going to do a suprise visit on her today, and see if there has been any progress... Last time I was in the shop there were a few cars there so I think that it will all be the same ..

Called in and saw the car today ... As I was getting out of my Cressida in the parking lot, I heard this nice sound coming from in the mechanics.. Thought to myself "that sounds like a beast"
Walk in the door just as they shut off the engine ... It was my baby ... Then they did a little checking, and started her again ... Sounded nice.. Laptop was plugged into her, and they were just having a general look ...
But the problem ... Well nothing major ... Just that one of the belts is catching on the engine mount ... Just slightly, and making a bit of noise ... Other then that, it was pretty darn good ... And that was with no tuning...
So, she is getting there ... One day soon she will be out on the streets.. lol ... Someday ...
I asked about the baffle, and it is still there... Just has a couple of holes where the two connectors go through ...

Air box has been made, and just needs to have 1 bracket made up, and the whole cut for the pod to go in. Ignore the bolts, as there are some nicer ones on order.

Box looks a lot like mine when it is finished.
I just need a lid and hole for the filter.
Looks good mate.
Have you taken into account the fitting of the overflow bottle and its brackets?
Cutting a few slots out for it?

Shit ... Just realised where it is meant to sit ... On the sonata, whe had it mounted on the other side... Never saw one mounted like on the E3 set ups...
Will have to see how we go ... But yeah, should just be able to put a bracket on it and attach it ... I hope ...

Thanks mate ...
On the back of mine (where the fuse box is) I have a fair bit of it cut out as I have the intercooler piping go through there ...
I don't think I have the overflow bottle from the GSR, so I may have to try and re-route it, to somewhere else .. But will have a play around with it ... I prolly wont get a chance to get a look at it till tues/wed tho ..

The latest news is that the car will be out of the mechanics next weekend ...
Personally, I am not 100% confident, but hey, we will see how it goes.. When I was at the workshop on Saturday, and my mechanic said it would be ready, I think he got a little cut when I laughed...
But yeah, he seems to think it is a sure thing.. So when it comes out, I will start to prep her to be road registered ... Which should be fun... Then comes engineering and all that good stuf...

That's unreal news mate. I bet you're itching to get it out for a spin! There's always a place to crash at mine if you want to come down to melb for a cruise.

got a question, did you still put your piping over the top of your manifold? is there enough room?
not quite a gsr, not quite an evo

It has been so long since I have seen it all assembled, I can't remember .. To tell you the truth ...
I also found out that it was not going to be ready this weekend .. lol ...
Mechanic forgot that he had to do all the a/c lines, as I still want to keep air con ... But the windscreen got done today, and the blueslip should not be far away ...

Sorry guys .. Don't get much time to post anymore... New job is pretty hectic ...
Anyway, here goes ...
Not much to update ... Car was ready last weekend, but as they were testing everything, it was noticed that the heater core was leaking ... So the dash got pulled apart, and the core was RS ... So it had to get replaced and were awaiting a new one
Heater core has now arrived ... Should be in this week ... Here are some pics of the finished install ...
Well front bar and intercooler piping all done and in place ....
This little beauty is a custom made, and polished overflow bottle ... Goes in well with the other polished stuff ...
And how the whole engine bay looks with none of the ECU wires hanging out ... lol ...
In the meantime, I have still listed the Cressida to be sold, and went out and bought myself this little beauty ...
With some exhaust mods, air intake (and God only knows what was done to her in Japan) this has been the result ...
