I dont know why, but I only just realised how tall your cooler is!!! if you painted that top bit that you can see through the grill black it wouldnt look so "in your face"
Ps - I got my hands on an E6 rear seat, so hopefully they match the front E7 ones trim.... 8)

not bad!
I made around that with my motor without the turbo when i was running it in.
What been done to the motor? anything?
whats the comp ratio etc?
My mates H22A honda in a DC2 made 160kw's at the front wheels without a turbo or super charger...
I'm sure u can better that!!!

Yeah, I think so ... Some of the other FTO's had all the Ralliart bits and what not.... SAFC's and were tuned, and were putting out 106-108kw ... So mine was the highest FTO on the day ... So yeah was heaps happy with that...
Good luck with the seat ... Worse case, just pull the cover off the Evo seat and put it on the GSR one ... That was going to be my plan if it didn't fit ... Where are you getting all the Evo interiors... I want to see if they fit into the FTO ....
110kw's!

No idea what has been done to the motor... Japanese show bag ... lol ... It has a couple of Mines stickers on it... I actually wonder if it has been re-tuned by them ... As far as I know, it only has a cat back exhaust, and Apexi Pod filter, and some aftermarket huge air intake pipe... I was told it was ARC, but has no branding on it... I thought it was custom, but saw another couple of FTO's in the UK with the same one....
Other then that, got no idea ... The car was super low (didn' think it would make it on the Dyno) so I got rid of the springs and threw on the JustJap G4's ... Next I think is a c/f hood ... Have seen the one I want at UAS for about 1k ... Autojoy also do a c/f boot lid ....
As for the comp ratio ... No idea ... Have never looked into it ...

Mechanic has been tearing around in it making sure all is fine ...
I am too busy to pick her up this weekend, but will call in and see her on the way to work on Saturday ... Hopefully pick up will be next week ... And straight to the panel shop, where she will prolly sit for some time to come ... :'(

This car is a ball tearer ..... I took it for a little fang today ... It is running a rough tune, and is on about 7-10psi ... It hammers .... Has a nice heavy clutch too ...
I have a little sound recording of it ... Sounds OK, but better in person ..
See if this works ... it was recorded with my phone ... Was only trying to get sound ... As the phone was still in my hand ... It doesn't like motion very much ... lol ...
Mechanic seems to think it is putting out about 200kw at all fours @ the moment ... Not sure what the actual figure is tho ... We will re-tune when the paint job is done... So will be some time..

Well the car came out of the mechanics on Saturday... Drover her home, and started to put her back together... I was meant to drive down to Kiama today to go see a panel beater ... But it is my mates friend .. Needless to say my mate never called ... So no luck with taking the car down ...
Was going to try and get a full re-spray (cash) ... Not sure how much it will cost ... But yeah, anyone on the forums that feels up to the task, let me know...

Yeah, all my mates just call it an evo cause of the engine and stuff.. I got tired of correcting them and give up now... lol ... So I think I am use to calling it that... None of them know the difference between the GSR and the actual Evo either ... Well maybe 1 or 2....
I wish she had the Evo tags ... ... Weird thing is, that the VIN is actually listed as a CC GL ... I have no idea what the original VIN was... When the car was recovered, they had cut all the identification numbers out of her..
It was actually registered as a GSR, but yeah, the VIN (according to Mitsubishi) says otherwise ... Then she has the E2 control arms and apart from the coilovers all E2 suspension ... Not to mention the E6 interior .. So she is a pretty confused car .. My little Bitsa ... lol ..
Hopefully, she should not be too far off completion. I need to get some new interior parts cause some of the plastic is in pretty poor condition. And with how much is being spent on the body (and how much has been spent on the engine) it would be stupid to not keep going on the inside...

Shell = Back to bare metal
Roof = Little bits filed and fixed from a dodgy job done by the previous panel beater
Rear quarters = Needed a bit of work from previous poor treatment, then some dodgy work done on it when it was re-sprayed before.
All 4 doors in primer
Front gaurds in primer
Hood/boot all in primer
All gaps checked and lined up ... Just gotta pull out some of the denting done to the sills so the skirts can go on nicely ...
He will do a bit of an engine bay spray also just to freshen her up a little ... But all looks good ... I was going to take pics, but the car has been pulled apart, and looks pretty ugly ... Doors were at one side of the shop, hood at the other etc. etc.
Overall am pretty happy with the progress they have made ... Can't wait till she is done ...
Just don't know what colour yet ...
I have 3 that I am thinking of ...
Evo X Blue
Mada RX-8 Blue
Black with either a blue or red pearl running through it ......
But will see how it goes... I also have to decide if I paint it blue, will I paint the top of the windows to match, or make them all blue ...
