Revived from private section for all to see lol

Bit of an update

Decided to get rid of the existing side and rear skirt, and replacing them with EVO4 lookalikes

Also changed my shifter base bushings and shifter cable bushes

And threw stock EVO inter-cooler and piping, and intake pipe and box, new tires to get thrown on and exhaust to be fitted, then its engineering time and hitting the road once again

Nice work.. Those bushings you are speaking of above?? replacing those will fix lateral play in your gear shifter will they??? If so I need some and noone up here on the Gold Coast seems to know where to get them.. Am also chasing some blue silicon Hose that is suitable for the main pipe for radiator.. From what I can see yours is red..

My shifter base and cables are out of an EVO1, so yeh theres not difference between them

New exhaust goin on, well by the time you read this it would be already on lol

Full 3" mandrel bent, been painted with ultra high temp paint, and a Magnaflow cat, the cannon is coming off and the Varex is getting thrown on... thinking of thrown a droopy on the end of the Varex

Also new tyres getting thrown on aswell and hopefully they have time for a wheel alignment

Well car is gonna stay at the exhaust shop till Monday, the dump pipe was different

Which then lead to the tyre shop not being able to get my car, its now booked in next Saturday to get the tyres fitted and a front and rear wheel alignment

Coilovers are out, stock shocks and springs in front, GAB adjustable damper shocks and stock springs in rear

New tyres on, front and rear wheel alignment done

The lowest point on the car is not around 150mm

Wow, its been washed! lol....
She sits a lot higher now and the wheel profile looks taller? Whats the heights from centre hubs to top of wheel arches Michael?
Looks very different in the front end too now that the polished intercooler and piping isnt sticking out - its been toned down and a bit stealthier with the black parts.
Not many would consider an AWD Evo drivetrain and forged 4G63T engine lurking inside
Have you spoken to the Engineer about the bonnet protrusion? The height and gentle roundness is no problem according to the rules, but its whether he wants to sign his name on it?
