Good luck today little bro. Sucks that you've had to do several trips to and from Sydney for engineering, emissions and tune lately but it'll all be worth it.
Have to beat the Sept 30 deadline before the new RTA Engineering laws come in
Hopefully all is passed today and ready for rego!!!
Then we can finally cruise together in Summer for the first time ever!!!

Just a tiny update

Car is fully engineered and ready for rego on monday, then just enjoy driving it for a bit before i throw the bigger inj in and pump more boost in her

Fitted my new bonnet with custom bulge and my E4 lookalike skirts to match the rear and the front difusers





Cleaned the interior up abit

Just out of interest what front bumper is that? I hope that's not too stupid a question but I don't know much about Evo's etc if it's an evo fitment haha I have a coupe myself and quite like the look of it

My front bumper was imported from Malaysia, its was designed to suit the Proton Satria/Putra (M21) and is called a "PROMOTE" bumper
Unfortunately the company has shut down, but you should be able to pick up 2nd hand
Theres was a couple for sale in U.K on the Proton Owners Forum

Mine's from Malaysia too. The aftermarket bodykit supply for coupes/protons in Australia is still OK, but theres not a lot of choice and the designs kind of suck.
To be different you sort of need to go custom or import one in. Mik got his during a Proton GTi Forum group buy so the price was reasonable.... but I imported mine in myself and all up cost me around $1400 all up in shipping, agent fees, fumigation etc!! and I still had to modify it to make it fit. It only cost me $350 for the bar and shipping to Australia, but the extra $1000 was Aussie red tape with agent fees, fumigation fees, misc fees!. As it was the only item on a pallet, I got charged shipping on a full pallet
If you do decide to go import, let the company you are buying from handle the shipping; or better yet see how much a custom bar will cost you to make from a local shop (the exact way you want it) because the price either way might be very similar. Unless you know somebody shipping a container over from Malaysia and you could get them to add it in

Well drove 2hrs in the stinking hot 30+ degree heat to the drag strip, 8 1/2 passes on 15psi boost (dont ask) at the end of the day i was stoked to get my best time of a 12.58 @ 103mph with a 1.733 60', then drove the car 2hrs back home
I think i may need to start looking for new suspension

We were in separate lineups all day, but they ran all the cars from lane 2 first, then lane 3 second so we couldnt face off. It wasnt til our last run that they ran lane 2 vs lane 3 cars against eachother, but we were about 2 cars off from bro vs bro battle. Maybe next time.
