DAMN YOU JON!! you know why hahah
Hey Bazza, i didnt know you need the switchable transfer case also.. ive been using the box in my FWD for years i think i need to read up more, like what will happen if i only switch the gearbox to FWD and using the standard non switchable transfer case? and whats the point of the switchable gearbox if the transfercase does it all?
Do you know of any of these switchable transfer cases around?

As for the adjustable transfercase, it disconnects the tailshaft I believe.
So in theory, you lock your awd box to fwd, then switch the xfer case to fwd to disable drive to the rear wheels.
If you were to only do the xfer case, you'd end up killing your gearbox viscous. If you don't have the switchable xfer case and you only do the gearbox, I'm guessing you'll still have drive to front and rear but in a locked state?????
