In the UK it's called the "Evo Zero by its fanbase," RWD and turbocharged. It was one of those things that ran the RAC Rally in the UK way back when. IIRC its what Mitsubishi ran before the big and fat Galants and then went to the Lancer platform.
2000GT is its name I think.
Oooh close on the name 8)
What year for the win?

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

The best that car attained in WRC events was a 3rd in 1982 at the 1000 Lakes Rally (now Rally Finland).
It was an era where the Audi and Fiat/Lancia Rally powerhouses were proving difficult to beat. Lancia had the 037 which was formidable in the hands of Markku Allen.
Other great cars of the 80's
Renault 5
Lancia Rallye 037
Opel Manta
Audi Quattro

This ones a 81 model.
It has the same engine and gearbox as a Starion.
But hasnt got the IRS that the Starion got.(thats what he told me anyway [ Starion owners confirm?] )
The owner(Dick) seems to have had many a year working on Mitsubishis whilst living in Papua New Guinea and being the main Manager of the Mitsubishi dealership.

Only rare in Aus.. there's a fair few in NZ and Japan..
Easy to import - wouldn't set you back much, but from what I've read on the NZ forums they are fairly slow..
