Hey all ive been a member for a while now and since im starting to get my car sorted i thought id give ya all a bit of a look at it..

I started off with having a bit of bad luck when i bought it with it breaking quite often but now all the glitches havebeen fixed its turning into a real exciting car to drive...
The list of mods are pretty basic..
It uses a Autronic SMC ecu, it all so uses at Tdo5h turbo of an evo 6 thats been high flowed, the turbo sits on a tuned lenght manifold. From that it has a full Apexi exhaust to a 4" canon..
The fuel system consists 550cc injectors and a 600hp bosch fuel pump currently setting up a surge tank to lesser the chances of runnin out of fuel..My tuner assures me i am able to achieve 230kw at the wheels really easily with the mods i have done and that it will be safe..

I have run a 12.7 quarter mile in the car at a 112mph but im starting to think the mph may not be accurate but thats what it said on the timeslip so i guess it might be right... :?
Let me no what you tihink of the car anyway... :)
It has a few more little bits and pieces but one of the other major mods was that i fitted a complete driveline out of an Evo 6.5 as the evo 4 driveline proved to be a little weak..
hear are some pictures.... :D

I love those Koenig Tuners on the Rex!!!

Mint lookin 4. IMO the clear lights need ridding and burning of. But apart from that I'm jealous.

I have the original blinkers and enkei five spoke rims sittin in my shed i just wanted it to look a bit different than any other Evo without making it look over the top.. The 19"s really set the car off i think i made the right decision with rims... i will be using the tarmac wheels for racing and track events :)

p.s you after any rain guards ? ive got a full set for sale pm me if you interested mate

I probably sound like a noob but what are rain gaurds??
I think i might throw the amber blinkers back in for a change again if you all think thats what it needs.. :P
And thanks for the comments..

What power you going for? I would recommend a Walbro 255lph intank pump for anything up to 400hp atw. I dont think you would need to put a surge tank in it

I would like t see atleast 250kw@ the treads, im pretty sure the pump i have is capable of doing that no worries so ill more than likely just keep the inline bosch item that i have, just my tuner recommended i put a surge tank in.. Pretty sure his reason was so i dont get any nasty fuel surges but yeah im just pretty much relaying what he has said.. What sort of power can the std 4g63 bottom end handle.?

Around 240-250kw is the max you would want to push stock bottom end in evo 4 and wouldnt run more boost over 20psi on pump either. Make little bit more with martini/c16/race fuel. With forged internals and supporting mods 300kw atw+ is easily achievable

Best IV I've ever seen. Seriously!

Thanks very much, Ive just bought a set of the AEM adjustable cam gears and am lookin at the crower copy cams of the HKS 272 grind, i havent heard of any bad reports of the crower copy's but if anyone has any negative input i would appreciate it if you could warn me before i buy them :)
Again thankyou for the comments intend to break the 250kw@w mark just after new year so hopefully i can do it without busting the engine.. :D :P

Well it was a nearly a year the car was off the road but its back and built stronger..
The new engine is a fully built 2.2ltr 4G with JE forgies, eagle, rods,T67 trust turbo with external gate, CnC head porting a swag of HKS and GREDDY shite..

End result was 293kw at the treads on its first tune

Posted Image

Ive all so had a set of tien super street coil overs fitted and just got myself another set of evo tarmac rims so its going back to the sleek jdm look..
Only thing i didnt do with the engine was the intake plenum but am just about to buy a hypertune one with a 85mm throttle body so im expecting a few gains from that all so.
Final tune we should have no worries getting 330kw out of it before the turbo runs out of puff.
Engine was built by Nick Zervos from Advanced Performance Centre and a big thankyou goes out the all the employees at the shop. There quality of work speaks for itself..
