Is there any way of using a mouse and keyboard on a PS3?

I've always hated control pads for first person games...

There is the frag FX/Pro that works with the PS3.... Some people swear by them others hate the. Apprently there can be some lag..... sounds like excuses to me

I've never actually used one, but seam to be the only option for a PS3 mouse atm

I went to the darkside and bought a XBox 360 just to play forza 3, its worth just having it for that game, great tarmac rallytracks with a evo X , I still preffer the Ps3 overall though its got alot more features and the xbox live you have to pay for which Im not getting

Mouse on a ps3 would be way to spastic. For example modern warfare 2 is bias for console players in that it has a auto aim feature which makes up for it being slightly more difficult then on computer. Which means most of the most skilled players are on ps3 and not on computer.

Just my opinion, but I can't play FPS's on consoles simply because of how sucky the experience is without a mouse or keyboard.

It's weird, some people say any usb keyboard / mouse will work on a PS3, but others swear none will?

There are a few posts out there in GoogleLand that suggest UT3 and Resistance actually have built in support for mouse & keyboard straight out of the box though?

Hi guys,

so after modding TMAK slightly. I've started modding my room with this lol.

Add me to PSN if you don't already have me - FRONTN (can't change it to TMAK).

Only just browsed the game last night coz installation took 10 yrs but the Logitech G27 is awesome. But it's not really "supported" by GT but is functional while driving. I just use the control pad to move through the menu of the game instead of the buttons on the G27.

I'll start GT mode tonight when I get home from work.
