Thanks to Adam who gave me the first 2 extremely rare files many years ago. I've put them up for the GVR4 community to share the wealth

Hey EVO,
thanks for that manual, came at the right time but....
i really needed the manual transmission overhaul section which isnt in the first one, know how to get it??
need to check a mates VR4 rally car box inside of 2 weeks !!!!
would really apreciate it if it could be found...

Sorry mate, section 22 (in first link) is all there is in regard to the manual transmission. I havent seen anything in regard to actually pulling the box down.

If anyone is having difficulty downloading, when you press the ORANGE download button, internet explorer should bring up a yellow status bar at the top of your screen which you should click on and select "download file".

Yes, windows auto blocks "pop ups" which i had to temporary disable and i have both downloads no sweat... thanks...... only on dial up so it took several hours.....

if anyone does have a copy of the engine trans rebuild section it would be appreciated, the box was supposed to come out this arvo but it will be done tommorrow night now with less than 2 weeks till rally......

I have the DSM manual on CD. It includes the tech updates, and the full VFAQ site as well.

I also have CAPS.

And a whole lot of other stuff.

I will make up a DVD to copy for people if interested. All I would want is people to send me a pre-addressed and stamped disc mailer.

what ive done is GSR shell with vr4 1991 engine and evo 3 wiring afm and ecu.

need the wiring diagrams to wire up few plugs etc. any help much appreciated

Every link in this thread is dead unfortunately. Does anyone have copies of the stuff in the first post? My Service manual DVD died (the one everyone else has labelled car_porn_07.

Anyone got a copy they could post to me ASAP? Or could someone re-upload the stuff?

I'm uploading a single RAR file to Rapidshare now for you. It includes both the Chassis and Electrical Manuals, 4G63 6-bolt Overhaul Manual, Gearbox Overhaul, and some Belt info. I will update the links in the first thread when done.

im having trouble down loading these still, could someone please tell me if the following torque settings are correct for a 1g 6 bolt vr4. if not correct please correct me

cylinder head 40, 80 100NM
big ends 34-40NM
mains 50-53NM
