The car wouldnt have been feasible to fix a any old panel shop. Better off to reshell, but then you have to build a new rollcage and the one it would cost about $6000 to redo.
Just cut the roof off both cars, cut the rollcage out, remove it through the roof and weld it in the new shell and weld the roof back on. An easy way if you are not going to bother to seam weld the new shell.
Is that your battery behind your seat? Scrutineers up here would have fit that its not in a battery box, even if it is a sealed battery.
Love the graphics, I reckon it looks better in white. I reckon rally cars look better in white (even though both of mine are blue )

Yeah i know thats an option but it was still an easier repair that doing that (I think  )Is that your battery behind your seat? Scrutineers up here would have fit that its not in a battery box, even if it is a sealed battery.
Its an oddessy, sealed gel battery. no acid. No problem. Can even be mounted laying down flat as i did for lower weight distribution and more solid mounting.Love the graphics, I reckon it looks better in white. I reckon rally cars look better in white (even though both of mine are blue )

How does a rally car stay so clean ...
Looks good tho ... Looks like a lot of fun too ...
Its not always this clean, look at the roads though, smooth as, & damp enough for little dust but not enough for mud. Perfect conditions and one of the most enjoyable rallies i've done.
