Hey mate, sounds good, I'll need it within the next couple of weeks, or sooner if it fails on it.

Wrecker quoted me $100, I thought "yeah nice one, dickhead".
Autobarn quoted $135 for both parts..
I was thinking $30 - $40 would be fair from the wreckers..

I need a new driver's belt, mine's a little frayed, and might fail my RWC. I trimmed it, and used a lighter on the edges to neaten it up..

Anyone had to replace this?
What's a fair price?

Been quoted rediculous figures from the wrecker, and autobarn.

I just need the main belt - can I replace this without having to get the whole retractor mechanism too?

I got these part #'s from autobahn, can u check a price for us please OGVR4: :D

K6304
K4425

Think one is the female connector, and the other is the actual belt + retractor.

will get you a price today buddy

I think $120 for a BRAND NEW seatbelt and mech is pretty good! Especially if it saves your life.
It is also illegal to buy 2nd hand seatbelts. But as if anyone will ever know.

Thanks again dude.

Bugger it, I may as well get a new one when I get engine mounts.
$104 new strongly suggests the wrecker asking too much.

I would believe that 2nd hand ones can't be sold - I think I've heard that once before, years ago.

I think there is a k6304GY for a grey version. The default colour is black, and I'd rather grey to match the rest of the car.

Haha I tried ordering the GY from repco, and Klippan still sent out a black one. Make sure they underline GY with red texta.

Oh, also, you need the buckle as well, can't remember the part number, the klippan tongue doesn't go into the stock buckle.

Oh yeah, sorry, it comes with the buckle, n/m. The $10 part is the nightmare fitting kit, you have to cut it up and bend it yourself to fit the seatbelt to the car. You can still get OEM belts, they're just expensive. Like three times more so.

When does the car get roadworthied? Obviously mine doesn't get done tomorrow now, but I will re-book.. I have a complete set of klippan belts, ready for a galant... I could only be bothered installing the drivers belt.. also I don't have the passenger seat buckle.. I don't need them when the car is roadworthy, or I am willing to seperate, whatever.
