Been to the workshop, and have been told that with the following mods:
Evo 3 turbo
Evo injectors
Fuel rails
SAFC
AVC-R
i should be good with about 180 at all fours..
what do you guys think and reckon of this... is it possible??

As the other said..its fairly possible...
But...
I think the only issue would be dodging the boost cut of the factory computer..
to make 180 @ wheel Kw your gonna need a minimum of 16 pound pumping through that 14B if you used it...the 16G will also go ok at this level of boost but go to 18-20 pound and the thing livens up like you wouldnt beleive neck snapping etc...
Thing is..even witht he SAFC2 and the injectors it will be borderline dodging the boost cut at these levels of boost, the best thing is though your using an electronic boost controller..which will make give you the best chance of stable boost an also avoiding the notorios creep from the 16G.
and also from what ive heard the 16G at 1 bar of boost isnt much better than the 14B..its when they go to around the 18 pound mark the 16G becomes in a class of its own..as has been confirmed with my own eyes as my mates 16G equipped Vr4 walks effortlessly away in 3rd..but down low its a closer fight

He has a Haltech E6X, Apexi AVC-R and 21 psi through his 14B He's got forged pistons and some goodies waiting to go in so is driving around atm to wear the engine in As before, with a decent turbo you can easily do 180kw atw at all 4 on less boost with the stock internals. 230kw atw is the general cut off area for stock bottom end in EVO's and a little bit more for VR4's (250kw I've seen people run even). What computer and what boost? I want to push my 14B..
didnt know they made that sort of power..
330kw atw @ 28psi 98 pump fuel.
372kw atw @ 28psi E85 Flexfuel.

yeah we im trying to get as much power out of the 93 as i possibly can, so yeah..

I'd go custom. Japanese branded exhausts are suited to japanese conditions/emissions/noise levels.

id wear lacoste lol..

IMO a 3" mandrel bent exhaust is a 3" mandrel bent exhaust. Its the stuff like mufflers, resonators and cat converters (or lack of) that you need to pay attention to.
Dont pay extra for something if you dont need it. (like a name on an exhaust)
Spend it elsewhere, you said you wanted to go faster right???

Would u wear aerosport or nikes????
in japan, having anything custom made costs a bomb - which is why there are so many off the shelf options.
if you can afford to go custom (and here, and there it's cheaper than a pre-made system from japan) why not, then you can have it tailored exactly to your needs.

He's Right..
I dont know what it is with that place but any custom work/fabrication or machining is big $
dont understand why though...they are the world leaders at that shit..
I know a guy who is a mechanic for a tuning house over there...
he flys to japan..gets 3-4 motors with parts...flys all the shit back and rebuilds it here and has all the customisation/machining done here, they pay him to do this..because its so expensive over there.
its crazy but it still works out cheaper..last motor i watched him build was an 980Hp soarer that had 2xT88 brought on by purged butane into the rear housing...  tore bitumen from the road and had the rear turbine wheels replaced every 5000k.. 8)
anyway..on topic...
The aftermarket off the shelf jap parts are just a means to an industry..and like some one elses said..pipe is pipe..go as unrestrictive as you can with as straight and as large a pipe you can use.

one T88 will support 980hp
the reason custom work is uuber expensive in japan is quite simple, workshop space is expensive (massively so), custom work takes much much longer than bolt on stuff, so the car spends alot longer taking up valuable space. (how many exhausts could you unbolt the old, bolt on the new and go in the time it takes to make one custom one?)
