I havent read some of this. But i believe the car is the old ATP GSR. Used to have a EIII kit etc.

Also have heard that the person in the blue RX7 stated (Now i may have missheard) that the gsr wasnt speeding and the taxi simply didnt see him, thus when the taxi pulled out the gsr packed themselves and swung rto try and miss but at 80km/h, smacked the taxi and they both ended up on the nature strip or something like this.

This basically had nothing to do with a "High powered vehicle", it was driver error by the looks of it. Untill we hear from the GSR driver we will not know 100% of the facts.

It is unfortunate but the media will twist what they can to make a more interesting story at the expense of someone else. It could have been alot worse if it was a higher speed impact.. but lets see what is said by the driver himself.. if he remembers.

from what i heard, the guy in the rx7 said that they raced from the lights but when he got to the speed limit he stopped and the GSR driver just kept going faster.

very sad story,i have seen cars damaged in a similar way at 80kms if they hit something stationary.dont assume speed was involved.

the car also had gauges in the dash pad, extra injector, koni red shocks, fake evo 3 rear wing, front mount cooler, sparco 15" rims

Well either way, It has now happened. There can be only speculation as to who is at fault. etc. a 80km to 0 in a split second is definately going to cause some damage and it wont be a little damage.

Anyhow. Hopwfully those who were involved make a speedy recovery.
