are you using rubber hose in the boot? anything but Teflon hose will smell of fuel in the car from my experience

E85 has the best smell. They need to make an aftershave with it!

Yeh rubber hose to half inch hard lines. The smell isn't that noticeable when driving mainly when the car has been locked up. And yes e85 has an awesome smell

On a good note went for a drive today to see how the air/fuels were going all was sweet so decided to do a 3rd gear pull and watch the afr. It pulled hard but boost spiked to 20 psi but unfortunately leaned out to 12.0 and the ecu says the injectors maxed out so I'm guessing she putting out up near the 300kw mark which is a massive boost of confidence but the dyno will tell the story

Ok finally starting to see the fruits of my labour. Today she got strapped to the dyno after pulling a hole heap off timing out we slowly chipped away rescaling the fuel tables and getting the afrs right. Ramped it up added a little timing and netted 318kw at 22psi
So we added more timing but unfortunately the fuel pumps were cavitating from to much heat so we left her sitting on the dyno to cool and have another crack tomorrow.
I'm pretty wrapped so far as we haven't even started adding boost yet

Ok so turns out my ecu struggles to idle with 2000cc injectors without any form off idle control we just pushing shit up hill. The tuner tried everything and the best we ended up with is still a pig but oh well I knew the ecu would be limited.
Anyway the car is home and I will start looking for a replacement ecu. Due to the heat up here ATM timing was pulled and the afrs richened up and still pulled an easy 297kw at only 22psi. Such a shame I never replaced the ecu earlier but at least I know mechanically the car is perfect.
Anyway here is a dyno sheet of what it's got now

Haha yeh be great to go for another drive but as soon as I get home the new ecu is going in

Any hints on what your choice of ECU is? I couldn't see anything mentioned.

Yeh def a haltech so I can utilise there idle control valve

Ordered a haltech platinum 1000 today just went with the patch loom and will just bypass for the ignition like my current setup also got the wideband a 4 bar map sensor and there idle control valve. Can't wait to get home to install it now

Bit of an update just rebuilt my whole exhaust it's now 3.5 inch all the way from the turbo and now has a apexi n1 muffler wow def loud as hell. Also dummy wired the haltech in to see how it goes what can I say so glad I got the new ecu I've never seen the car idle at 950 rpm before it runs so smooth.
Hope to finish the wiring in the next week or so then back to the dyno and hopefully the strip if all goes well.
Anyway here is a pic of my dump I just redid cause it wasn't as neat as I wanted it
