Hi all. I have just upgraded from the Cordia, but i am keeping it as the weekender at the moment. I may paint it when i get the daily on the road. It's rough but one of my favourite cars i've owned. It almost seems worth it after all the time spent in the engine bay... (when it works)
Its a 84 AA GSR cordia
4g63 vr4 engine
Td05 14b
3" exhaust from turbo to tip (stealth quiet)
3" SS Dump and screamer pipe (quiet pipe and a screamer ???)
600x300 hybrid cooler, aluminum piping
VR4 loom and ecu
HD clutch
Apexi RSM
Autogauge
Oil pressure, Water temp, Oil temp & boost
Evo 3 twin piston brakes,
276mm front discs
Evo 3 OZ racing rims
Momo wheel
Polyurthane Rear Engine mount
Grumbly Strut brace
Hayman Reece tow bar
Uncracked dash, 242,xxx
Anywho i should probably show you all some pics
I love heaps of pics.. i wish that i had more during all the mods. I have a couple of vids as well.
Just filled the radiator and waiting the the thermostat to open

lol ... I thought the same thing when I read it ...
I think Roger has killed my enthusiasm for cordia's .. I just can't look at them the same anymore ...

Man... roger seriously wrecked cordia's... Ohh well i have had mine in the making a long time before that guy came along..
I have recently bought dre's GSR, and i'll be CC'in all over the place.. but the cords has it's place in my garage, It's feels double as fast as the CC GSR.
I'm going to get it to the strip before winter comes in properly. Hoping it will lay down a low 13.. i dont think it's unrealistic.

i think we are going to settle this one on the quarter mile.. there is no point speculating.. i rekon i have more power, but he has rwd.. important for launch..
ATM it skates in 2nd from 3500rpm.. so i have to take it pretty easy to avoid wheelspin..
did the twisties last night and it was still pulling really well in 5th.. hehe..
Sammys car is on carsales.. ;(
Dre: yeah man, this weekend for sure.. i am going to take it in for rwc on thursday and just get a list of anything else cept the airbox and what not..
I'm going back to track on the 22nd of april for more punishment.., welcome to come up...
i'd love to do some track time on in the cars tho.. my best time around PI on the bike is 1:57 seems slow by car standard, but man you are hiking on the bike,

Used to own one. If u like wheel spin and torque steer, cordias are great.
Basically u are never going as fast as the speedo says cos they always skate and wheelspina nd carry on
I loved mine to bits to some nuffer ran up the back of my and wrote it off... Thats when i went the vr4. and now the evo.
'94 Evo 2, Forgies, H-beams, cams, copper head gasket, GT25 440hp turbo blah blah $$ spent too much of them...
'70 XW GT, STOCK! (as stock as GT's are)
Coming soon Manifold and Haltech

Ahhh the good old Cordia GSR..............
What a great car , I had three of them in my time.
My first one had only 80,000kms back in 94 when I bought it and by 96, it was the only one fitted with 17" rims around then...........
Bloody awesome for handing once dumped with a set of Koni's, took mine down the GOR one time, I was going between 80-120 around the twisties with no fight back on the steering
Even had the rego GSR 86 on two of them........
Hold on to it, they will be instinct soon.

sik pics man! i love this car its a beast!!!!!! try an external waste gate!!!! it might fix that boost prob......love it!!!
external gate will fix the problem but you can fix it by modifying the factory wastegate flap valve port it out from 28mm to 32mm , replace the flap valve and a bit of porting inside the exhaust housing where the gases exit through the wastegate , have done this mod a few times
i had the same problem with my vr4 powered cordia
if you remove your turbo and bring us the exhaust housing we can modify it for you
but first of all check you acctuator make sure it works and the diaphram has no leaks.
