Hey guys im after a EVO crankshaft 7 bolt in good condition ASAP

ive been informed that all EVOs from 1 to 6 use the same crank so any will be fine

Whats the differences?? ive been told they are all the same and will all bolt into an EVO 2 block

the thrust bearing on the crank is different design on evo 1 to 3 & i think there are other differences. The bottom end in the E5 & onwards is stronger than the evo 4.
have a search on MLR to check further?

EVO 1-6 crank designs are virtually the same. There's plenty of cars in NZ running latter model cranks in early 1-3 engines. I'd say thats probably because of what 'norwest_rumbler 'is talking about but I cant confirm. If the latter model cranks offer a better bearing design then it's little wonder why they're the stronger and better choice (to combat crankwalk).

Ah a bit too late, he bought an EVO 5 crankshaft today I found this post which explains why: http://www.mmc.org.n...highlight=crank . He already has got Eagles and Arias too :wink:
