I swapped the turbo from underneath the car rather than pulling the exhaust manifold off this time around, and I'm really not sure it was any easier this way. It was a pain in the arse getting the water fittings off (had to pull the bolts that hold the compressor and exhaust housings out to get enough room to swing a spanner) in order to get to the last bolt on the t3 flange. I think next time I'll just pull the exhaust manifold out lol.
I find the best way to remove/install the turbo is to pull out the radiator and work from the front of the car.

I wonder if it's about time to change the stock inlet manifold?

The polished cover will give you a bit more power also... Just like mine!

i think the stocker with a bit of porting would be good on the street but hurt top end power, especially from peak power through to redline. Ive got a hypertune on mine but with a XF 65mm TB,seems to work well.

The clutch is not disengaging completely. If the car is started in neutral, then you can't get any gears. If you start it in first with the clutch depressed, it idles lower than usual, and pulling it back into neutral sees the revs jump up, so it's obviously not completely disengaging. When started in first, the friction point feels like it's in the right place, and the clutch pedal feels fine.
I've bled the system from the slave twice, to the point that it's completely flushed. Checking by eye, the slave seems to have the correct amount of travel when the clutch is pressed. You can't see enough through the bell-housing breather or inspection hole underneath to see if it's disengaging properly (but I think the tolerances are fine enough that you probably couldn't notice by eye anyway).
Anyone have any thoughts? Is there any other adjustment in the system? We're sure the plates are lined up and installed within the cage correctly (they went back in the same way they came out), so our current thought process is one of the plates may not be completely true, and hence dragging.
I had thought about resleeving the slave slightly smaller to get a bit more travel out of it - any thoughts on that?
