depends on your definition of "a reasonable price"

Yeah .. quite a bit less than what you're asking

Nothing against you there dude - I just wouldn't pay that kind of money for second hand wheels, they're just not worth that kind of money to me.

I've been thinking of picking up a set of 16" TE37s which I can get brand new for about $1200 .. might go that way instead of finding OZs.

Evoism, if they're replacing chromies, I'll give them to you

Seriously , I'll let you know if I do decide to ditch them. It's not a priority but, so don't hold your breath :)

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

Nah, not now. The barina has gearbox problems (460hp atw in a shopping trolley tends to break a few things it seems), so I lost my ride. Heading down the coast to a mate's holiday house to drown my sorrows of missing the event instead now

I'll 100% be at Minijam in QLD though :D

Minijam is the first weekend of March, a month after Heathcoate - I reckon they stuffed up putting events so close together, people are far more likely to do Minijam than Summer Slam.

The Sydney event is in May (18th, I think) - and yep, already got my holidays in for Jamboree :D

Just realised I don't have a list of mods in this thread, so here goes:

The motor is from a '92 aussie VR4 .. it's a pretty simple setup.

Bottom end:
- Wiesco 9:1 forged pistons
- 'Custom' billet rods
- Basic crank prep - lightened and dowelled for the flywheel
- New water/oil pumps
- O-ringed deck

Head:
- Pretty basic port and polish job
- JUN cams (272 total duration, 235 degrees at 1mm lift)
- JUN adjustable cam gears
- Crower titanium retainers
- Crower valve springs
- 1mm oversized valves
- Brand new rockers/lifters/guides
- O-ringed head

Both the block and the head are o-ringed seperately to ensure a good seal with a copper gasket. ~30k on this motor now, and no signs of problems .. I was a bit worried, having had issues with copper gaskets in the past, but Mick's done a great job on it.

Induction:
- 600x300x75 hyperflow intercooler
- 60mm alloy piping
- Trust Type R BOV (plumb back)
- Custom 4" intake
- K&N Air filter

Exhaust
- 'Custom' exhaust manifold
- 3" turbo back exhaust
- No name resonator
- Single twin exit muffler

Turbo:
- Garret GT3076R turbo - 0.82 rear housing
- Braided water/oil feeds/returns
- Turbosmart 45mm external gate
- Haltech boost controller

Fuel:
- 1000cc rochester injectors
- Walbro in-tank pump (lift-pump)
- Standard fuel rail
- Braided fuel lines throughout
- 5L surge tank
- Bosch 044 external fuel pump
- SX fuel reg

ECU/Ignition:
- Haltech E8 ECU
- 4 x Bosch coils (same as LS1 with built in ignitors)

Drivetrain:
- OS Giken twin plate clutch
- Otherwise totally standard

Brakes:
- Evo 3 calipers
- RDA slotted rotors all round
- Project Mu pads

Suspension:
- Koni internally adjustable shocks
- Lowered springs
- Full whiteline handling kit

Wheels
- Advanti rally-tech (Enkei tarmac knock offs)
- 205/40/17 Hancook K104 tyres

Interior:
- Evo 6.5 TME front and rear seats

Exterior:
- Full genuine E2 body kit
- Fibre glass bonnet

I think that's everything.

I was asked for a video of the car's idle so I thought I'd put it up here .. it's off my phone, so not very good quality, but you get the idea.
