I wish, unfortunately trying to buy your first home and building a forged motor dont tend to go well with eachother

couldnt of picked a worse time to get into the housing market!!! prices are just soo overly priced now that if you arent in it now theres no point getting into it cos ull b on the losing end of it when it begins to level out!

build a block! atleast u can enjoy it... but that said if it aint broke why fix it?
look at Tims car he has run 11.6 in a VR4 on a stock block! so definately do able.

^^ True, but you get to a point where you want to be out on your own doing your own thing without the folks having to be involved to a degree.

The car runs, it goes well, it looks good, so why pour more time and $$$ into it? Get the house and then build the block IMO - it'll be worth it in the bigger picture. At least that way you'll have your own garage to put it in and store your parts and do the work.

Dan, if you are concerned about the housing market, there are good alternatives. There are plenty of property markets in sustained high growth areas. Buy an investment property, let it make you some $$$ while you wait for the market to level out in the area you wish to live in.

dan aint stupid, i brought my 1st house in november for 270, is now worth 360+
was good timing yeah but once ya have that house an its paid abit off then ya can redraw/refinance for a forged engine, house prices are gunna keep going up, maybe not at as much as theyre predicting but still up

Nice score, i bought mine 2 years ago.. recently rented it (living with family now) and refinaced and thats how my evo 9 became! lolz

i think the times for houses to go up now are very limited in terms of how much they will. personally i was going to buy another house but i think the prices will plateau! They just cant sustain a high level for too long especially with the interests about to go up and all that. That said tho, there is HEAPS of demand for rental propertys most areas are under 1.2% in vacancy!! So that means high rental returns!!!

GL dan!!!

Going a bit off topic there Jonny Boy!! But while off topic, there is never a bad time to buy. Houses will only go up. The sooner you get in the better.

Back on topic, Dan, Can I have a close up of your blue nuts please?
And a tip! Enjoy the car as it is mate. You'll be shooting yourself if you broke your block. Greed is not good!

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

NO MORE BLUE NUTS....

Surge tank, external fuel pump and custom Stainless Steel main feed line is next on the cards, then a retune.

Also still waiting to sell the EVO 7 interior (few takers come tax time), and then will have some new PPM racing Carbon/Kevlar front seats, and EVO 5 or 6.5 rear seat, Momo steering wheel and some other goodies on the way.
