How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

lol!!
I also love lamp ....
anyway first time ive seen your build up from scratch - Well done. loving it!
thanks bud. Its been quite painful ..... :?
but im sure it will be worth it. this is only stage 1 too. Its taken WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long IMO.
put down to bad organization, not just on my part, and not having proper experience to have had the foresight when it came to knowing what parts would be needed when.
things like small shitty gaskets and the like that had to come from japan
Dan at Springy motors has started wiring up the SM4 so ill have back very shortly - I mean it this time LOL

if u dont mind me asking what was creatd doin 4 ya?
saw it there last weekend...still there?
brakes, change an engine mount, and SM4 install and tune.
It had been there for over 4 months, and to cut a long story short, I got sick of waiting.
As JSTYLE just mentioned, the car is now Springy motors, sitting silently and seatlessly next to Mr Bazengs car - which funnily enough is also silent and seatless
It will be done very shortly.
My EVO 7 recaros got here today too
Its being wired right next to my car =)
I started wiring my car a few days ago...
It'll be easy since we both have the same ECU's
too bad i cant post pics, i've got a nice shot of our cars sleeping
hahaha, nice one. I need to ask a big favour, it involves the copying of your SM4 manual ..
As for posting pics, i dont understand why you arent seeing the attachmod feature underneath your post window, only in the private area. Ive had a good look through all the forum settings, especially for this section, and theres nothing that would disable that feature exclusively from the rest of the forum .... weird :?

FP3052..........!!!
i think a bolt on 50/60 trim is more attractive, bolts up to all existing hardware - ie dump, cooler piping, manifold etc etc
especially seeing they come with a 38mm internal gate
Seats finally got here, BIG THANKS must go to brisvr4 for helping me out.
im going to go see if i can get them to bolt in tomorrow, along with the E2 door trims.
the trim matches up perfectly!
might swap the bootlids back over too while im at it...

the TPS and injector loom are still yet to be done. (theyre the only wires you can still see )
Got me a JSPEC tstat controlled oil filter housing, so i can run an external oil cooler. Big thanks to Meek for getting it to me so fast.
Also got some EVO 6 seat rails from NZ, so hopefully wont have to mod them too much to get the EVO 7 recaros to fit up.
I think I may actually see my car running again this week
vicroads day is fast approaching :|

After 21 Months my car is finally running again, thanks to Dan @ Springy Motors. It got started up today without any dramas.
Its going on the dyno tomorrow, and I should have it back by the weeks end.
Alternator relocation went smoothly thanks to the JayRacing relocation kit - great bit of gear (thanks Dre )
We had to ditch the sotck oil cooler idea, as the cooler pipes dont allow enough clearance. Luckily the denso Oil cooler I got off ebay matched up perfectly to the existing air con condensor mounts, and thus custom braided lines were made to suit.
Still have some things to do, like install a O2 sensor in the TRIKFAB dump pipe, wire the SM4 up to control the "cyclone" valve in the intake manifold, install the E7 seats, and of course - tune the thing.
But im stoked nonetheless. The wiring job is awesome, to say the least. The earth leads still havent been made up, that was happening today when i was leaving (thats what the jumper leads are for ).
Injector & TPS loom -
Custom alloy bracket holding Ignitor & Autronic Boost control Solenoid (Loom still needs to be terminated & heat shrunk)-
Oil Cooler positioning -
Oil filter housing -
Oil Cooler lines -
Earthing required!! -

I was then when it roared into life!
Luckily the motor sounded quite healthy for a jap import!
Lets hope the motor holds up...
Congrats once again.
Dan @ Springy has been working on this thing day/night to get it out before Christmas. The amount of time to do the loom is crazy...
The alternator is now located at the back of the motor, where the air con compressor is usually located, a belt is supplied by jayracing to fit over the waterpump / crank and alternator.
Dan's planning to get flatshift and launch control working on your beast also, it'll be good to see how it goes!
You've made me anxious to get my thing running now!!!
Looks like 2008 will be the year for some VIC cars to come out and play...

Still to sort out some little things including oil drain leaks (no gasket/sealing washers used), braided fuel line install (previously only cut and hose clamped onto the stock line) etc..
But it looks promising!
The motor seems to sound healthy!

Yep - thanks to CREATD for those two issues :?

I havent spoken to Dan yet (I just got back 5 minutes ago), but there should be some serious progress in the tune department im guessing.
on 14psi, with the cyclone butterflies closed (they are going to be controlled by the SM4, not vacuum anymore), and on 2 year old petrol, it made 155kw atw.
