it's not that bad of a look, why should every one have a plain coat of paint, maybe he wants people to look at him, I sure look at a car if it is standing out as it drives by.

fair enough to look at it..

dunno bout u but when i see cars like that i have the "wtf is that" look on my face..

LOL well this was a surprise... 3 years on

It's nice to see that my car and idea was "popular" to become a topic.

I'm sure on your side you can get anything you need for these cars, but EVO 1-3 parts are hard to find this side of the world (Trinidad) especially lips and side skirts... it's the best that can be done for those owners. Yeah the graphics may turn off some of you but it was my boyhood days... and I'm still proud to say I did that all by hand.

So 3 years on I own a VII now but plan to start working on the lancer again... here's the planned look maybe this one is "Dean" approved. LOL

THATS what Im talking about!
Looks alot better! :)

Totally respect your graphic work by hand, but yes, may have just been a 'phase' lol
Looks much cleaner now with the painted door handles too etc.

don't worry about it too much mate, your car is your car at the end of the day.

People on these forums give saint-like criticism compared to other *COUGH* forums

[Reviving from the dead]

Just thought I'd give a lil heads up: Still can't get an evo 2 lip, so the GSR one stays. Graphics are gone (lots of people here I bet will be drinking in celebration) and just making preps to get seats, lights suspension etc changed and prepped for the project (hopefully by Nov 2013 finances providing)

Thread revival here gents.

All the images in the earlier posts are no longer visible (to me anyway) - was it in this thread that somebody had posted an image of a Honda Civic front lip on an EVO2?

I wonder if a DC2R JDM front lip would fit/look good as an alternative, people put them on a range of cars.

I have always wondered what a Corolla lip would look like:

My missus has one of those Corollas and I've contemplated doing a "trial fit" of that lip!

I want one that has a flat lower surface so I can mount my front splitter as per the attached image.
