Not sure where the piller pod came from as it was on the car when i got it but i think there might be a sticker on the back of it so i'll have a look to see who makes them.

I'm not happy having it sitting up so high and not having the front lip on but i'll be fixing my driveway in the next couple of weeks so i'll be able to drop it back down and put a new front bar on.

I got the tyres and wheels at a really good mates rate but the best price i got quoted was from tempe tyres in sydney. $220 a corner plus $10 a tyre to send to my door. The best price i got in vic without too much haggling was $320 a corner fitted. The load rating on the 205s was 84 which i went for to stop rubbing in the guards when i drop her back down. I'm thinking of getting my guards slightly modified so i can fit 215s on my other rims which have a load rating of 87.

not too bad,
bit better than old rims.

as someone said, drop it a lil bit
and then get that front lip happening.

that is one extremely clean ride u've got going.

my apologies for the thread hijack  it was fairly cheap for the painting of my rims but i did all the prep work, took about 4 hours a rim with 400 wet and dry to get them back to primer, then a few hours for filling any dings. they had a few coats and came up well but are rather susceptible to chips,i dont know if powdercoating is a better option??
does anyone out there know if you can still buy these rims? i have had no luck trawling the web for them.

Ask Harry (yellowgsr), he is a spraypainter and just painted his old OZ racing rims to look like new again

I've tried looking for more genuine sparcos too but they seem to be rare as hell! Millions of knock offs though. I'm going to take my wheels to GSRsol's guy in the next couple of weeks so i'll let you know how they turn out.

So far these tyres are awesome. Much better in the wet than i thought they would be aswell. I'd definatly reccomend them for anyone who uses there car as a weekend cruiser and occasional track day without going for some uber expensive track only tyres.

i find doing a 90 degree right hand turn at around 40kms in the wet and my car looses traction :S

btw, KYB Adjustible Shocks with custom springs? I see GAB in your pictures on the third page :) Only noticed it cause i got em too

My GSR has always been fairly tail happy which is fun occasionally.

I had to put the GAB's in the rear when i lifted her up as i couldn't get springs to suit the rear kyb shocks. Really impressed with the GAB's though. Solid ride.

I am getting my SAFC and AVCR installed and tuned in the next few weeks hopefully but i'm also getting my intercooler piping changed in about a month. Should i hold off getting a tune untill after the ic pipe work is done? I'm going to be taking the over exhaust manifold route and going for probably 2 1/4" piping.
