Add posts below please. We only want the brand, the size, which engine it's in (or car whatever) and the power it made. Also want to know if it's tuned rich or lean (or stock ecu).

I'll be heavily moderating this thread, i'd like it to be just the facts please.

I'll start...

My VR4 - Currently FIC 650cc, runs slightly rich with 41psi base fuel pressure. Stock ECU.

Matress - FIC 750cc, Wolf v4. 12.0:1 at wot, 226kw.
The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism.

the important thing is fuel pressure.. that is what you want to know.. i can guarantee that every injector is good up to about 65psi.. then you sort the men from the boys after that.... i know of various brands that 'dribble' at anything about 70psi fuel pressure, which is about 27psi of boost :) (43psi base)

how do the yellow top evo injectors go in terms of 'dribbling' at high pressure?

It depends really. I know that I would rather upgrade the injectors size and run them with a stock regulator than have stock injectors and run them at huge pressure with an aftermarket regulator. What are your goals?

i know that i will have to change them eventually, but i am after about 250-300kw atw.... eventually!

right now i have 510's with walbro 255 lph pump and stock j-spec ECU... so it is running quite rich.. as everyone says... but for some reason it seems like its running normally.... no black/brown smoke, spark plugs look golden brown, etc etc... but it is using a tank every 350-400 kays or so. with a bit of enthusiastic driving.

I'd switch back to the 450cc's aye, unless you can get your AFR's checked with a wideband to say they are ok. Mitsu ECU's have the tendancy to run rich- so running 10% larger injectors for no reason wouldnt help- unless the ECU is chipped for them!

As for 300kw- some 800cc's SARD's should be fine........

yeah i reckon i'll just go the rs computer. what do i have to do to get that to work correctly? i have been told its as easy as changing over 2 wires or something? is this correct?

its darwin so there aren't many traffic lights or stop-go driving. thats how i get 350kay to a tank. lol. but i do love the old boostage every now and then.... actually its more like every single time i take off... lol
