Possibility of typo? the plate is there you can't fake that...or can you?

Maybe they didnt put the "0" at the beginning coz its useless lol

But Trav is right, they should have a 7 digit number reading, i just checked my EVO1 and Libero VIN plates

my question is, do they always remove the original factory chassis/vin build plate when a yellow plate is issued???
its missing on the firewall of this car.

its never removed off the firewall , its usually shared on the yellow plate , I think maybe he has found away around it to get that yellow plate on there, or its a mistake which can be done pretty easy , but it just seems alittle cheap to me

yep I think the 0 is missing also , I will check with the 0 at work

even now with complied cars , say a C73A , you will see e.g , 6U9000C73A0000718 , and this is a non yellow plate , and the C73A-0000718 will still be on the firewall

its a good thing to check as it would be worth alot more than he is asking if its a typo

I think he would have just put the 10k starting bid to attract a decent amount of attention but his reserve is probably alot higher than that. I guess if it doesnt reach what he wants it'll get passed in and re-listed with a buy it now price.

apart from noticing the missing ViN plate ... it does have a stamped number on the drivers side tower to match the 6U90000CE9A613335 I believe.

CE9A-0109XXX is the firewall number last 3 digits have been ground off .. guy just texted me back with this info.

if your car is missing digits the RTA also will supply the digits , so it looks like its be approved like that

did he give you a full engine number Rob?
