an "RS2" is just another nickname that somebody made up- just like the "EVO 0"
first I have ever heard of it.

"The RS2 is an even rarer variant of the RS, the only difference being that the RS2 has Air conditioning. "
I thought all RS models had basic A/C just not climate control A/C ???

I also thought 94 was EVO II and 95 was EVO III ???
They are. It's funny how many people who think they know so much about their cars actually know very little. This is what spreads misinformation about these cars. It's rife.
On a different note- how about this for a cheap track day/drag car. Just add EVO engine and driveline

There is no such thing as an EVO2 RS2 - the feedback I have received is that he fitted the A/C and was in the process of turning it into GSR spec.

What I'm trying to find out is if all RS models had basic A/C ??
He's saying that his is a rare "RS-II" because it has A/C !!
I know there's no such thing as an EVO 2 RS-II but the statement did spark the above
question for me as I thought all RS models had the basic GLXi style A/C...
So it's an EVO 3 RS then not an EVO 2 RS. Or is it actually a 94 model and not a 95 model as stated in the listing ?? LOL..They are. It's funny how many people who think they know so much about their cars actually know very little. This is what spreads misinformation about these cars. It's rife.
As you say the guy obviously doesn't know shit about his car.

RS models came with basic air con.
They didn't have a radio.
Although as will all cars you can pick and choose your options/acessories

Sigh, and it looked so nice... Bit pricy though, or am I being a philistine?
No I don't think you are. It's alot of money for what it is IMO.

I agree. A lot of money. At the end of the day though, if it's an EVO 2 then it's a 1994 EVO 2 not 1995. Especially if this car was not even complied through the loop hole until the early 2000's not 1995.

So sad to see them in that state. Interesting its an RS with most of the GSR bits like climate control A/C, power windows, steering wheel, rear fogs, even colour coded mirrors and door handles?? The Mitsi epc data site confirms that vin as an RS tho.
Bit of work involved in bringing that one back to life. THe yellow plate definately adds value tho.....
