I'm having a looking at this week- It's had a rear end hit btw and has a broken transfer case.
if transfer broken from rear ender...then likely gearbox also broken. or is transfer blown from abuse?

Sounds - simply - AWESOME!
Transfer case seized up due to having no oil in it (not Terry's doing, had just had it serviced... top notch workshop?)- car was doing 100k's on the freeway at the time, rear wheels locked and spun him rear-end into a guard rail. So who knows what other driveline damage there is......
Non evo (cd5a)- hit in the driver's rear corner is unrepairable/not worth it being a gsr, crushed the rear guard all the way to the door and under the rear pillar- however it has-
evo 1 front bar, evo bonnet, evo guards (drivers side is damaged a bit and no liner under passenger front guard), Formula coilovers, evo 1-3 brakes, non-evo 4g63 7 bolt? (assuming it's an rvr, engine code is OM), stuffed transfer case- full of bits and doesn't turn, there's shock damage all the way up the driveline including the spline of the shaft from the gearbox to the transfer case being twisted (so unsure what gearbox condition will be) unsure of rear diff/gearbox setup, standard td05 on engine, standard evo 1-3 injectors, microtec stand alone ecu (yay), evo 4 seats that are not in the best condition (standard gsr rears), evo climate control with all the servos on the heater/ac boxes etc, 180 km/hr speedo.
Was registered in Qld, has mod plate for engine etc. Got pics if anyone wants a look. Engine/box/subframes/suspension is all out of the car at the moment and will take a bit of work to get it rolling for transport.
And he wants more than 500 btw.....
